I am working on the new generic commands right now. I intend to deprecate the existing ones, actually. I noticed that at least the one for the connection factory is broken because the resource structure has changed since. I won't be surprised if the others have issues too.
I'll leave them supported/maintained to some extend. But I don't want to invest in their development.
