Miroslav Novak commented on AS7-1772:
-------------------------------------

Hi all,

thanks for update. I've checked example configuration in $JBOSS_HOME/docs/examples/configs/standalone-hornetq-colocated.xml which starts AS7 with live and backup HQ in the same AS7 instance. Unfortunately this configuration have no real use case because usually the whole AS7 server goes down when some failure occurs.

Is it possible to add example configuration for more useful scenario like:

Cluster with servers A and B where -
1. Server A contains HQ backup for server B
2. Server B contains HQ backup for server A

There is missing documentation how to configure AS7 with HQ in collocated/dedicated topology. An example of configuration would help a lot.

Thank you,

Mirek

> HQ's HA strategy based upon colocated HQ servers in the same AS instance requires that the configuration model and the runtime services allow for multiple HornetQServer instances.
> QE has raised the absence of this support as a blocker.
