I'd talked to Rich a bit while about this before he filed it. The use case is basically to avoid forcing people using one tool to administer the AS to shift to another one, e.g. SSHing to a remote server.

The notion I had was a variant on the :reload operation that could trigger a shift in the configuration file that's read.

I'm changing the component on this from CLI to Domain Management, as the CLI can do nothing about this without some change on the server side.

It's "Open to Community" as it's the kind of thing that might be quite interesting for someone in the community. Otherwise after 7.1 I'll have a harder look and see if it can be done and when.
