Currently, there are two use cases.  

1.  Set the JPA default datasource name (this is currently the only JPA subsystem property in standalone.xml).  The default datasource name is used if an application persistence.xml, doesn't include a jta-data-source or non-jta-data-source setting.  The default datasource is assumed to be equivalent of setting the jta-data-source.

2.  Show separate JPA/Hibernate statistics/operations for each deployed application.  I'll later attach an example of the current CLI experience with a deployed application.
