Run the tests from your favourite IDE after importing the project as a Maven project or from the command line.

Activate each of the three profiles in turn.

For Drools 5.1.1, both tests are green. For Drools 5.2.0.Final and 5.3.0.CR1, the test *with* dependencies will become red.
