Consider 2 server A and B. Server A contains a deployment with a jboss-ejb-client.xml refering to a remote outbound connection to server B. Both servers are up. Application on server A invokes on a bean on server B. Works fine.

Now server B goes down. This causes the EJB receiver in the client context of the application on server A to be closed and no longer functional. A little later server B comes back up. The application on server A invokes again on the bean, but currently it fails with "No EJB receiver available to handle invocation". Instead, the invocation is expected to trigger a reconnect to server B (which has restarted).
