Stefano Maestri commented on AS7-5226:
--------------------------------------
You can add it, but you can't :enable it:
[standalone at localhost:9999 /] /subsystem=datasources/data-source=TestDS1:enable
{
"outcome" => "failed",
"failure-description" => "JBAS010436: Failed to create DataSource instance for [{
\"address\" => [
(\"subsystem\" => \"datasources\"),
(\"data-source\" => \"TestDS1\")
],
\"operation\" => \"enable\",
\"operation-headers\" => {\"caller-type\" => \"user\"},
\"persistent\" => undefined
}]
reason: IJ010073: Invalid <security> configuration",
"rolled-back" => true
}
This kind of check is done when the Datasource is enabled and effectively deployed/bounded
Closing the issue as rejected for this reason.

> Running the command
> [standalone at localhost:9999 /] data-source add --name=TestDS1 --jndi-name=java:jboss/examples/TestDS1 --connection-url=localhost:8888/fake-url --driver-name=h2 --user-name=admin --password=something --security-domain=Management
> results in a Datasource being added. I was told that this should not be allowed (having both a user-name+password and a security-domain specified)
