Tests in DataSourceOperationUnitTestCase are related to h2 data source and need h2 driver being installed: if you take a look, they don't use ExampleDs at all. Tests failed because of wrong -Dds=... implementation. After installing your own jdbc driver, you shouldn't delete configuration entry for installed by default driver for h2 data source.
