A {{jboss:run}} goal has already been done upstream, https://github.com/jbossas/jboss-as-maven-plugin, it just has not been released yet. I was hoping to add the JDF Stacks to it before I released, but not sure if time will permit that. If I get a chance I'll review and cut a release this week.
