This is waiting for the pull request to be worked. There's a testcase in jbossws-shared-testsuite covering the new scenario (the test is excluded while waiting for the pull request). See http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbossws/shared-testsuite/trunk/testsuite/src/test/java/org/jboss/test/ws/publish/EndpointPublishServlet.java for an example of what should be done for deploying endpoints using @WebServiceProvider with no attributes. Basically, we no support passing an instance of org.jboss.wsf.spi.metadata.webservices.WebServicesMetaData to the EndpointPublisher. That covers any override that can be specified in the webservices.xml descriptor (see JSR-109).
