I also created a validator for the CACHE_MODE attribute, validators.CacheModeValidator, which sets the allowed values for Mode to "ASYNC" and "SYNC", so that the parameter description appears exactly as described in the original issue description here.

This required adjusting the toString() override in org.jboss.as.clustering.infinispan.subsystem.Mode which was forcing the mode names to be in lower case: "async" and "sync" instead of "ASYNC" and "SYNC".
