RH Bugzilla Integration commented on JBRULES-3480:
--------------------------------------------------

Mario Fusco <mfusco at redhat.com> made a comment on [bug 760441|https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=760441]

I just checked that this fix is working as expected on the 5.3.x branch.

Note that the warning is not reported in the System.out/System.err but as a proper warning of the KnowledgeBuilder. So, for example, if you do something like:

KnowledgeBuilder kbuilder = KnowledgeBuilderFactory.newKnowledgeBuilder();      kbuilder.add(ResourceFactory.newClassPathResource("HelloWorld.rf"), ResourceType.DRF);

in order to see the warning you have to read it from the KnowledgeBuilder itself with:

kbuilder.getResults(ResultSeverity.WARNING)

and in case you will obtain a List of KnowledgeBuilderResults containing a DeprecatedResourceTypeWarning saying:

"DeprecatedResourceTypeWarning: RF format usage detected. This format is deprecated and will be removed in future"
