The test will fail if the tests methods don't run in the order they are defined in the class file. JUnit does not actually run the tests in any sort of well defined order, as the Java compiler does not preserve order information when it compiles the class files.

As the actual order is semi-random the test fails intermittently (I notice it on OpenJDK).
