Actually, it looks like some fishy is going on...
Looking at the stacktrace, the session as fetched from the distributed cache is invalid - meaning it's timestamp is older than the maxInactiveInterval, hence the call to ClusteredSession.expire(...).
So, my question is, does your test attempt to access a session that would have been expired? Even though this condition should not cause a TimeoutException, I want to make sure there isn't something more fundamental that's broken.
