There may still be an issue with the code which loads main/jsf-impl-2.1.5-jbossorg-1.jar relying on finalization thus leaving the file descriptors until gc catches them, but currently running on 7.1.1.Final with 1.7.0_03 using G1GC and not seeing the files stack up.
