Thanks Alexey. I missed that I can get the console output stream. The problem I had with that was that relying on reading CLI output to determine when the command has finished is not always possible without some sort of hack. That requred waiting which slowed test execution. But if the handle method is synchronous and one can assume that when it returns all the output is already in the stream than it is fine.
