Could you please provide more information to help investigate the issue?

How is the application deployed?
Could you attach the server.log which includes info about deploying the application?
Do you see the same happening to your other applications too or is it the only one?
Could it be that the deployment hasn't yet fully deployed while the read-attribute was invoked?

Is there a chance you can try reproducing the issue with the latest master copy of 7.2.0.Alpha1?

There was one issue fixed in that area since 7.1.2.Final, although from the description it's a bit different to what you observe https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-5749
