A workaround might be to add the [jboss.as.jpa.classtransformer|https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/WFLY8/JPA+Reference+Guide#JPAReferenceGuide-Persistenceunitproperties] property (set to false) to the persistence unit definition.

This would mean that class transformers will not have a chance to rewrite/enhance entities.
