The standard batch 1.0 client API is here:
https://github.com/jboss/jboss-batch-api_spec/tree/master/src/main/java/javax/batch/operations

The primary one is javax.batch.operations.JobOperator, and other classes are just exceptions.  

I expect this should be sufficient for the management client to query and interact with the target batch runtime.
