Investigating the upgrade to Hibernate Validator 5.x (AS7-6665), I just noticed that RESTEasy uses a HV specific API ({{MethodValidator}} which was replaced by {{javax.validation.executable.ExecutableValidator}} as of HV 5/BV 1.1 (see [GeneralValidator|https://github.com/resteasy/Resteasy/blob/master/jaxrs/resteasy-jaxrs/src/main/java/org/jboss/resteasy/spi/validation/GeneralValidator.java]).
