Right now we use standard JDK http client if we must use something else to allow doing this in an isolated manner we could work on that.

Main goal is to avoid requiring to use the binary protocol which requires specific versions of remoting etc.

Got example on how this would affect the client ? i.e. what API would it need to do ?
