Hi Thomas,

it may be possible to achieve such a script with only bash feature by implementing some ninja process finding using 'ps' or something like that. However, this is not the purpose of this init.d script. It is there to offer a nice integration with init.d. Now, I'm not against your idea, I just like the proper authority to implement such a drastic change. I will assign this ticket to Jaikiran who took care of accepting my changes on the script - maybe he will have the necessary power.
