I think we have been hitting the same problem in our application: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1130411

We haven't been able to make a minimal reproducer yet, but one of our stack traces[1] is pure undertow/wildfly, so I don't think it can be (completely) blamed on Seam or Mojarra.
