Richard Achmatowicz commented on JGRP-1790:
-------------------------------------------

For this to work:
- you'll need to add the group "unsupported" to an excludeGroups parameter on every instance of runtest (or add it in by default to the macro), so that each instance of runtest excludes tests marked as unsupported
- i'll need to go in an edit every test case file to be excluded to add the "unsupported" annotation parameter.

Is that the way you envison things working? It seems fine conceptually, but in practical terms, having to go in an edit a test case to exclude it seems a bit much. It would have been nicer to be able to just specify a list of test case names to be excluded using a system property, somehow ...But testNG doesn't really make life easy.

If you would like to proceed that way, i'm fine with it. I'll just have to modify my test report modifying script to modify test cases instead.

> There is a need to run the JGroups testsuite, while at the same time excluding a subset of tests from test execution and report generation.
> This is used, for example, in executing JGroups tests which are only relevant to EAP.
