David Lloyd updated WFLY-2323:
------------------------------

                 Summary: Interoperability testing between current and previous versions (was: Wildfly 8 EJB client can't talk to JBoss AS 7.x)
              Issue Type: Task  (was: Bug)
           Fix Version/s: 9.0.0.CR1
                              (was: 8.0.0.Final)
             Description:
We need a complete way to verify forward and backward compatibility between all supported network protocols in all WildFly releases. This includes (but is not limited to) the following areas:

* Remoting itself
* EJB
* Remote Naming
* Remote JTA
* HornetQ
* IIOP
* Management
* Transactions
* Web Services

  was:A WildFly 8 EJB client cannot negotiate a connection to AS 7.x, though an AS 7.x client can talk to WildFly 8.x. The protocol should be forward and backward compatible.

       Affects Version/s:     (was: 8.0.0.Beta1)
    Estimated Difficulty: High  (was: Medium)
             Component/s:     (was: EJB)
