Andrig Miller commented on WFLY-1077:
-------------------------------------

@Jason - Thanks for the outline. A couple of questions.

While we could not directly fix interoperability issues with the JDK ORB, wouldn't every vendor that passes the TCK already prove interoperability with the JDK ORB? That's the ORB that used in the interop tests, correct?

We also have our own OpenJDK team, and they should be able to help get fixes in place.

Number one and number two seem to be the biggest issues, in my mind, with no clear solution. Would we have to do what Stuart was doing with pulling the code out of the JDK to solve those?

> Implement a JDK ORB subsystem that can act as a replacement for the JacORB subsystem.
> AFAIK, most/all JDK ORBs are based on the Sun ORB.
> Ideally the 2 ORBs (JDK & JacORB) would be both supported in case we need to go through a transition period, or we need to support a particular interop scenario for which interop communication has issues.
