The other issue is that the jacorb community seems pretty much gone. As best as I can tell it's just Nick making commits to it. That's not to say that Oracle has a community around their ORB, but they do seem to have quite a few maintenance engineers on it. That plus the bug for bug compatibility with TCK interop could potentially save us time.

However all of the concerns listed above performance, new customer issues due to behavioral changes, etc have to be considered.

 TBH, I don't really like any of our options :(
