James, I have created maintenance branch and cherry-picked bunch of commits that looked relevant for inclusion including spring fix one.

can you check if it looks of to you https://github.com/jboss/jboss-jsp-api_spec/tree/jboss-jsp-api_2.2_spec-1.0.x
if so, I can do release.
