[~shelly.mcgowan] Thanks for pointing me to that issues. Using that BOMs will probably help (I didn't try), but still if we push something to Maven Central, that something should depend on stuff that is available on Maven Central as well. But this issue is clearly duplicate of https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBEE-118 (sorry for that, I haven't noticed), you can mark it so.
