This is not as simple as it looks... 
If we have a (single) member P sending multicasts, all messages are added to the retransmission table in NAKACK, but *never removed* as {{DONT_LOOPBACK}} discards the message. This means P doesn't receive its own messages (which is desired) but the retransmission table for P grows as messages are never removed. This also prevents stability from making progress.
