Our standard host.xml files include permgen settings. Our software just ignores them on JDK 8 or later, and we only run on 8 or later, so having these settings in our standard configs is just misleading. 

WFCORE-1151 attempted to fix this via a patch to core, but apparently the settings remain. So probably they are being added in some feature pack in full as well.
