There messages are logged on the server when an invocation from an EJBClient arrives which cannot be processed because the container is suspended. The message is logged before the response (in this case a NoSuchEJBException) is returned to the client. Under normal circumstances, the client will attempt to retry the invocation on another available node.

So, this is an expected informational message in a suspend/shutdown scenario, flagged as ERROR as the invocation attempt on that particular server actually did fail.
