Paul, we can't remove what the commit you refer to does that easily. There are two options

1. We accept that the Infinispan configuration in WildFly  allows indexed="true". In which case, raising an exception of infinispan-query is not there is necessary.
2. We decide to differentiate the Infinispan configuration in WildFly and remove entirely the ability to index 9and configure indexed="true". In that case, the commit indeed can be removed.
