i use         
    public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
        System.setProperty("java.net.preferIPv4Stack", "true"); -->
        System.setProperty("jgroups.bind_addr","192.168.2.123"); -->

        new SimpleChat().start();
    } 

shouldn't be the same?
