I am closing this issue. Because somehow the scanner started working in my environmnent. I simply cleaned my workbench's M2 repo and the created the stuff again in a small poc project. I don't know the root cause as I haven't changed any configurations or anyother thing.
me and 3 of my colleagues were earlier unable to get the latest asset. Butnow we got it.
