>From a user's perspective it's confusing that 8.2.1 bom doesn't match widfly 8.2.1 but 8.2.0 instead - maybe for future similar cases it would be called 8.2.0.1 instead, so there's room for 8.2.1?
We definitely have a potential issue due to this, as we're using wildfly 8.2.1 with wildfly-bom 8.2.1 which is apparently a bad combination.

Any reason why the 9.0.1.Final bom isn't available on Maven Central?
