Jackson 2.7.1 solved both issues regarding backward compatibility (https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-databind/issues/1079 and https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-databind/issues/1087). Thus an upgrade to Jackson 2.7.1 is possible.
