With Java 8 functions it should be possible to simplify how the values for runtime attributes are returned where resources register a single service.

i.e. It should be possible to define a function that given the return type of the service returns another value based on the service returned value which is the value for the runtime attribute.

As resources can also be closely related to the service based on capabilities this should be easier to resolve than it has been previously.
