I don't know if any of them are particularly valid though. DomainRootDefinition.NAME may be valid, as the default value is kind of funky. But even then if the user actually passed that value in, I don't see why it can't be persisted. But we'd need to do a thorough audit.

All this said, I agree PersistentResourceXMLDescription should be marshalling defaults.
