Geoffrey, +1 for the random seed. I think it should, indeed, increase the coverage and I can't see any drawback at the moment. The example tests are not repeatable even now due to the time based termination.

On the other hand, what I think would make bug isolation easier, is a kind of termination tweak that would keep the time limit but would prevent terminating in the middle of a step when only a part of moves before reaching acceptedCountLimit have been evaluated.
