With the upcoming JUnit5 it would not be necessary anymore to generate JUnit tests out of scenarios. It is possible to write a TestEngine, that can directly run the scenario files. I have started to work on such a TestEngine, maybe it is of use for someone who stumbles upon this future request. :)
