[~bstansberry2] eh, I know this is not exactly the most important task to work on, but I found myself asking multiple times "mhh, is this instance running with the resteasy version I expect it to be running with?" and the same question was answered hundreds of time during the boot in the case of JBossWS, for example (note, both RESTEasy and JBossWS have installation mechanisms for replacing the stack on a given container). That's why I invested 10 mins on last night on this, some of them for the proper jira red tape ;-)
