I added tests for 2) in {{EmbeddedXsltProcessorTestCase}} and for 3) in {{XsltProcessorInModuleTestCase}} in https://github.com/ppalaga/wildfly/tree/WFCORE-2805 at c615766

All tested scenarios pass both before and after replacing the custom Xalan module with the implementation from the JRE.

I am still waiting for an answer ad 4) 

bq. What is the user currently supposed to do to change the container wide default JAXP impl?
