Hi, the issue is not concerning hibernate/jpa but class loading policy, i tried to exclude dom4j for fixinf the error https://stackoverflow.com/questions/35533847/wildfly-10-java-lang-classcastexception-org-dom4j-documentfactory-cannot-be-ca, but the only way is to eliminate the jar from EAR lib
