Ok, looks like that JBEAP-9123 got resolved thus I thought it's regression when it showed up again but it looks like that there was open another issue which is hitting EAP 7.1.0.GA and never as well - https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBEAP-12983. It might be the same issue.
