Build fixed with https://github.com/kiegroup/droolsjbpm-integration/commit/9fb6b528637576054760a2396edc8bc72859ffe9

What is still broken at runtime depends on the fact that Karaf 4.2.0 (which we're using at the moment) doesn't support jdk 9+ yet. This should be fixed with Karaf 4.2.2 that should be out by end of this year.
