Lemme please double check with [~manstis], but I guess zooming for GDT and for any Stunner based editor (BPMN, CM; DMN) are two separate things, although we can apply same interface and capabilities, they're completely different implementations. 
We have actually another ticket for Stunner, so looks good for me having 2 tickets for this, just throwing this comment to be all on same page... :)
