This issue is a consequence of WFCORE-3962
Feature spec generation (as well as configuration generation) relies on the embedded server which fails to start.
I will apply the workaround recommended on WFCORE-3962 but only for the forked embedded process (which is the default but now is going to become a requirement). Otherwise, aiui, maven would have to be launched with --add-modules java.se.
