Hi [~jomarko] this in itself can be closed; as you cannot import data-types from a XSD.

However it could be re-purposed and moved to a sub-task of [DROOLS-1964|https://issues.jboss.org/browse/DROOLS-1964] and renamed "Support use of 'imported' data-types". DMN supports referencing other DMN files and importing types from that into the diagram being authored.
