Ahhhh Java, "Write Once Run Anywhere"

I can only speak for jbossws.  Our testsuite has tests that run our .bat scripts by default,
BUT we do not run the testsuite  regularly on Windows.   I've been enhancing our tests to run
the ps1 scripts hence I started uncovering these issues.
